Stuff n Sit

Disclosure: This post was sponsored by Creative QT in 2017. I received free product and compensation for time reviewing this product. As always, my opinions are 100% mine.  How many of you have loads and loads of stuffed animals at your house? We sure do! It seems like little kids are naturally drawn to owning stuffed animals. They are cute, cuddly, and soft, which makes perfect sense why kids love them! But have you ever noticed how stuffed animals can take over your child's room or … [Read more...]

Our Homeschool Room for 2019

by Angela Thayer 1 Comment

homeschool room

I'm excited to share that we've decided to homeschool our boys this year! We did preschool at home but then decided to send our kids to our local school. We loved the school and teachers, but because of my husband's non-traditional work schedule, the school schedule made it hard for the boys to see their dad. Family life is super important to us, so we thought homeschooling would be a great option. We are excited for the year ahead as we will have a 2nd grader and 4th grader. Our youngest … [Read more...]

Toy Room Organization & Free Toy Bin Labels

by Angela Thayer 53 Comments

Staying organized is something that I love. With three little ones, my house doesn't always look super clean, but I feel amazing when my house is well-organized. Since moving into our home, our toy room has been a mess. We are very blessed to have a huge room in the basement for all the toys, but I didn't have a great way of organizing it all. Last week, I finally got it all organized! Today, I'm sharing how it turned out as well as a printable for our toy bin labels. I don't know about … [Read more...]

toy bin labels

It's the start of a new year, which is the perfect time to organize your toy room! The day after Christmas, I got on a big purging and organization kick! I donated toys we don't play with, bought plastic bins to organize toys, and rearranged our toy room. I made some toy bin labels a few years ago, but I decided to update them with a new font and add more labels with pictures. I'm excited to share them with you today! How to Get Control of the Chaos & Clutter

by Mor Zrihen 1 Comment

Hi 👋🏻 my name is Mor and I’m a hoarder off all things book 📚 and educational materials. Can you at all relate?!? [sigh] Seriously now.... I’m totally type A, OCD, and organized by nature, but while I try to adapt the minimalizm approach in most aspects of my home & life, I’ve been feeling swamped and overwhelmed by the amount of “stuff” I’ve accumulated from my classroom teaching days & homeschooling years. I’ve been in a homeschooling funk for quite some time now.... I used to … [Read more...]

by Angela Thayer 1 Comment

I love spring...it's a time of new beginnings and fresh starts. One thing I like to do during spring, is clean and organize our toys. Toys seem to take over our house during the winter months, partly because we are indoors most of the time. Today I'm sharing with you the 5 steps I take to spring clean our toys. 1. Rotate Toys While we are blessed to have many toys, the kids only play with a handful of them! I find that if I take time to put away toys and bring them back out in a few … [Read more...]
