Friday Favorites – Easter Time!
Happy Easter week! We had a fantastic week being at home and NOT at the hospital! Seriously…my bed feels so nice! This week we were busy with school, the start of soccer practice, and Easter activities! Here are the favorites from the week!
Favorite #1
Easter eggs! My boys look forward to dying eggs every year! They ask me multiple times during the year to dye eggs, so when they see the decorating kits at the store, they beg for me to buy them! This year we tried 7 different ways to decorate eggs (and you can see HERE which one is our favorite way). The boys’ favorite is the standard color kits from the store.

Being Outside! We have been playing HARD outside and it’s been glorious. The weather has been great and we’ve been doing a lot of biking, scootering, and kicking balls around. We enjoyed playing with chalk paint outside. It’s so easy to make, too! Just add 1 part water with 1 part cornstarch and few drops of food coloring.

My son learning on his own. I love that Troy loves to explore and create different experiments. He will ask for a few ingredients (usually vinegar, baking soda, cornstarch, and food coloring) and I’ll set them out and watch him play. I love that he initiates this and spends a long time experimenting!

Boom Chicka Pop. It is my favorite snack. I could eat a whole bag in one day…yikes! Please tell me I’m not the only one who love this popcorn!
