A BIG Announcement!

by Angela Thayer 3 Comments

Hello! We have a BIG announcement to make today!! I will let the boys share our news…

baby#3

We are so excited to welcome a 3rd child late July! Here’s a little more info about this pregnancy.

1. How far along are you? I am 13 weeks along!

2. How did you tell your family?

Well, we wanted to tell our family on Thanksgiving, so I came up with a little craft for the boys and present for them to give to their grandparents. I traced the boys’ hands and made a small hand for baby. Then we added a googly eye, beak, feathers, and gobbler to make them look like turkeys. Pretty easy project! When it came time to tell our family, I had the boys hand an envelope to the grandparents and they opened it. Both sides had no idea this was coming!  It was fun to see their reactions. 🙂

3. How have you been feeling?

To be honest…really terrible. You probably noticed a decrease in new blog posts in the last month or so…this is why. I have been so sick! I was sick with both my pregnancies, but this one is worse. I  have had a hard time keeping food down, but lately I have been getting better. I tried everything to feel better, but nothing was working so I am on meds now. They do help, but I still get sick. I always say that it’s a good sign to feel sick, because I know that the baby is growing inside.

4. Are the boys excited?

YES! They are so thrilled. They recently got their first cousin, so it’s fresh in their minds what a baby is. They change daily on whether they think the baby is a girl or boy. And their name choices are always interesting…

5. Will you find out the gender?

Yes. We are planners and like to know!

I am so glad to share the news with you all! I hope you will understand why I hadn’t been posting as frequently…but I hope to be back to normal soon. 🙂 We feel SO incredibly blessed to another miracle to our family. Praising God for this blessing!
