Week in Review
We had such a fun week! It started out with time out at my in-law’s farm. The kids spent the night there (yay for date night!) and then we picked them up the next day and spent time 4-wheeling and hanging out with family. Here’s a peek at our adventures….
Look at how high Wesley is jumping on those rocks!
The boys went to the county fair and they loved the corn pool. Talk about a great sensory experience!
They even built their own corn pool out at the farm in the hay shed!
There’s also a hot air balloon festival goin on right now, so we watched balloons as we 4-wheeled back from the river. They were right next to the farm!
Here are some other favorites from our week…
Wes’ favorite activity…
The pool never gets old for either boy. They could swim all day, every day!
The boys’ favorite game this week…
They did not just ride their bikes, but they played bumper bikes with each other, where they tried to bump into each other…I guess boys will be boys!
My favorite verse this week…
I have been learning so much about fear vs. faith. God has been reminding me to always put my trust in HIM, not trust my feelings or read into things that are totally not true. I have been reminded of this verse all week. (And this photo was taken at a waterfall in Japan!)
Today my husband graduates from the police academy, which he has been at for 15 weeks! We are so proud of him and cannot wait to celebrate!! Have a great weekend everyone!
Wow, congratulations for the new Law Enforcement Officer or bobby as he would be here in the UK! I like your pictures. We go to the beach a lot, cos we live by it. That never gets tired either, ever. We build the same castles and have the same negotiations with my 7 yro girl about depth. they love it.
Thank you so much! We are all excited for his new career. You are so lucky to live by the beach!! I so wish we did. Have a good weekend!
