Week in Review

by Angela Thayer Leave a Comment

It’s also been a busy week at home. Let’s just say I’m super glad it’s Friday!

The boys’ favorite activity this week…

We took their bikes to a small lake/pond and rode bikes, fed the ducks, threw rocks, played on the playground & got really, really sweaty! Gotta love those July days!

Our favorite book this week…

I think I seriously read this book over 20 times. Wes just giggled the whole time I was reading! Have you ready this book or any of the pigeon books?

My favorite verse this week…

Isaiah 40:31

“Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom. He gives strength to the weary and increases power to the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on the wings of eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.” Isaiah 40:28-31

(That picture is from one of my trips to Indonesia! I so want to go back!!)

A prayer request…

My good blogging friend, Sharla, wrote a beautiful blog post yesterday about how things can change in an instant. Her daughter broke her elbow and had surgery the other day. At the hospital, they met a dad whose daughter has been in a coma for twelve days from a car accident. She also suffers brain injury, broken ribs and skull & jaw. What a reminder that things can definitely change in an instant. Please read her post and pray for Megan!

Make sure to check in on Monday…I have an exciting giveaway starting!
