Playground Expectations Printable Booklet

by Angela Thayer Leave a Comment

If you asked my kids what their favorite part of the school day was, they would say recess! The playground at school can be so much fun. As all teachers and associates know, teaching expectations and playground rules early on is so important!

Today I have a playground expectations printable booklet to share with you. This is a simple book to read with students to start the dialogue of what the playground rules and expectations are.

The booklets are 8 pages long and they come in color or black and white. The book has general rules, such as including others, playing nicely, and helping friends. I didn’t write very specific rules because each school is different. Feel free to add more to the booklet or talk about specific rules as a class.

To put the booklet together, follow these steps:

  1. Print the pages on copy paper.
  2. Use scissors or a paper cutter to cut the pages in half (on the dotted line.)
  3. Put the pages in order.
  4. Staple the pages together on the left side.
