Christ-Centered Easter Printables for Preschoolers
As Easter approaches, it’s a wonderful opportunity to focus on the resurrection of Jesus Christ with your preschoolers. While traditional activities like Easter baskets and egg coloring are enjoyable, emphasizing the true meaning of Easter can be both educational and spiritually enriching. To help with this, I’ve created a free packet of Christ-centered learning printables tailored for young learners.

The Easter Story
The Easter story is from the Bible and tells of the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. During the Easter season, we celebrate and commemorate Jesus Christ. The Easter story can change our lives, because it is the story of God’s powerful love for each of us and the sacrifice He gave!
It is celebrated on Easter Sunday, following Good Friday, which marks Jesus’ crucifixion. This historical even represents redemption, hope, and victory of live over death.
If you are interested in reading more about the Easter story, check out the following chapters in the Bible.
Learning Skills
Our Easter packet is designed to enhance various developmental skills in preschoolers, including:
- Alphabet and number tracing
- Fine motor skills through straight and curved line tracing
- Scissor practice
- Recognizing and creating patterns
- Completing dot-to-dot pictures
- Story sequencing
- Cut-and-paste activities
- Memorizing Bible verses

Activities Highlighted
Two standout activities in the packet are:
Story Sequencing Cards: This set includes eight picture cards depicting key events of the Easter story. Children can arrange them in the correct order and retell the narrative, reinforcing comprehension and storytelling abilities.Teaching Mama

“He is Risen” Cut and Paste: In this activity, children cut out letters to form the phrase “He is Risen,” match them to the corresponding spaces, and glue them in place. This not only reinforces letter recognition but also the central message of Easter.
