16 Ideas for School Organization

School is just about to start! Whether you're a homeschool mom or teacher, you may be looking for ideas for school organization. If that's you, you're in the right place! My advice is to keep things simple. Find what works for you and don't spend tons of time or money organizing. Also, find a system that will work for you. I know we aren't all type-A people who like to clean or organize 24/7. I know for me, I need to have things in place, otherwise, I can't focus and it's harder for me … [Read more...]

toy bin labels

It's the start of a new year, which is the perfect time to organize your toy room! The day after Christmas, I got on a big purging and organization kick! I made some toy bin labels a few years ago, but I decided to update them with a new font and add more labels with pictures. I'm excited to share them with you today! 6 Easy Spider Web Crafts

by Angela Thayer 1 Comment

Spiders totally creep me out. I know that I'm much bigger than them, but I just really dislike spiders. They always seem to pop up when I least expect it! My kids are the opposite...they love anything to do with creepy crawlies. Since spiders are popular this time of year, I wanted to do a spider web craft with them. I had some leftover spider cut-outs from the sensory bottle we made, so we decided to make an easy spider web craft with them. First, we made a spider web design on black paper … [Read more...]

Week in Review

It's also been a busy week at home. Let's just say I'm super glad it's Friday! The boys' favorite activity this week... We took their bikes to a small lake/pond and rode bikes, fed the ducks, threw rocks, played on the playground & got really, really sweaty! Gotta love those July days! Our favorite book this week... I think I seriously read this book over 20 times. Wes just giggled the whole time I was reading! Have you ready this book or any of the pigeon … [Read more...]

Snow Ice Cream

by Angela Thayer Leave a Comment

I have always wanted to make snow ice cream. For some people, this is a tradition, but for us this was a first! With the first snow storm of the season yesterday, we decided to try it out! Here's what you'll need: *8 cups of freshly fallen snow *1/2 cup sugar *1/2 Tablespoon of Vanilla *1 cup of milk (we used almond milk) To start, gather some fresh snow. It's pretty obvious that you would want fresh snow...none of that dirty snow! Add in the sugar and vanilla and … [Read more...]
