    Yes, I have.
I never wanted anyone to feel the way I felt waiting for God’s time; it can be tiring, tedious, and nerve-wracking. What feels like the end of physical patience often becomes an emotional bumpy road that full of fear, worry, and despair. You ask yourself over and over again “What am I doing wrong?” or “Why is this happening?” And then you start looking back on your life trying to find a reason.
However, when He answered my prayer, all I said was I can never think of a better time than this. 🙂

While society makes every attempt to make our life easier and faster, God works on a very different timetable. In his mind, nothing is wrong with waiting. In fact, waiting can actually be a positive good that he often uses to make us more like his son.

  3. Thank you for sharing your heart with us. I was blessed by your testimony. God recently spoke Habakkuk 2:3 to me, He may be slow in response but perfect in timing. =)

I love your comments about waiting on the Lord. In May 2017, my fifteen year old son was diagnosed with a super-ultra rare liver cancer (fibrolamellar hepatocellular carcinoma). My world fell apart. My family’s world fell apart. We are from North Texas and no one had ever treated that type of cancer before. We were not given good odd that Joshua would recover. We prayed that a way would be opened that he could be treated and his life would be spared. I felt so helpless. We finally found a group of doctors and started treatment. After three months, the scans showed no shrinkage! More waiting, more praying. The doctor was hopeful about trying another type of medication. Luckily it worked. After three months, my son was able to qualify for surgery. On December of 2017 he had 1,767 tumors removed from his abdominal area including 30% of his liver, his spleen, appendix, gallbladder, 1/2 of his rt. diaphragm, and a testicle. It was an 18 hour surgery. We were not sure how or if he would recover. Joshua was able to go home after three weeks in the hospital. He went on to have thirteen rounds of chemo. On April 13, 2018, he went into remission. The doctors couldn’t find any trace of the tumors at all!!! It has been a long journey. My son is a walking miracle. God is good. He loves us and listens to our prayers. The way will be laid before us if we wait on him.

    2. Thank you so much for this amazing testimony. It is encouraging to hear about how other people have walked through intense trials and how God has come through. He never fails. Praise God for your son’s healing! I am waiting on my mom’s salvation. It has been a period of much pain for me and persistent prayer. Also learning to enjoy life and all my blessings in the waiting. Please pray for her salvation. Amen.
