Back to School Scavenger Hunt

by Angela Thayer Leave a Comment

School is just about to start! Does your school do an open house or a meet the teacher night? If so, you’ll want to download this Back to School Scavenger Hunt printable! It’s a fun way to familiarize students with the classroom. You could also do this on the first day of school!

back to school scavenger hunt printable

I created four versions of this printable.

  1. in color with no words
  2. in color with words
  3. in black and white with no words
  4. in black and white with words

You can choose whichever version works best for you!

If you’re using this for an open house activity, I recommend handing out the printable to students as they walk in. To make it easier to write on, you could also have it on a clipboard with a writing utensil.

Then invite the students to find all the items in the classroom. When it’s completed, you could have them turn it in and get a small prize like a sticker.

If you’d like to download this free printable, just click on the words below.
