Pattern Practice Pages
I love to teach about patterns because patterns are everywhere!
Your day is set up in a pattern, stores are designed in a pattern, clothes have patterns, and you find patterns in music. Patterns are a foundational skill that you child learns at a young age. Learning patterns will help children become successful in reading, math, and science.
If you’re looking for pattern practice pages, I’m here to help you out!

I love using songs to teach, like this pattern song, and then practice completing patterns together as a whole group. After teaching this skill, I want my students to practice on their own or in small groups. That’s where the practice pages come in!
These pattern practice pages contain the following:
- AB patterns with hearts
- AAB patterns with hearts
- ABC patterns with hearts
- Mixed patterns with shapes

For the pages with the hearts, students will color in the heart to continue the pattern. They could also stamp it with a do-a-dot marker.
