Kid-Designed Ninja Star
My son, Wesley, created a great craft and activity that we are calling a Ninja Star. He was so proud of his creation and kept telling me how I should put it on my blog. I love that he made this all on his own and I’m proud to share it with you all today!
This is such a simple activity, but it has lead to hours of fun for my boys. This throwing star (or sticks!) is kind of like a frisbee and boomerang. You throw it really hard into the air and then it soars around and usually comes back to you. My boys thought it was amazing! Look how proud Wesley is!
To make it, you just need wide craft sticks and glue. We used clear Elmer’s glue. Just glue all three sticks together like the picture shows. Once it’s dry, you can try it out!
To start out, just put the ninja star behind you and then whip it out and release it!
Watch it soar in the sky!
Check out this short clip!
I hope you’ll try out this idea! Wesley is so proud of it and it really is a fun activity!!
This is awesome! My boys are going to love trying this out! Great idea Wesley!
Way to go, Wesley! That looks like a ton of fun (I know what I am doing with my kids this afternoon!)
