Friday Favorites – 1st Week of School!
Happy Friday Everyone! Whew! We made it through the first 2 days of Kindergarten with our oldest. He is going to school in the mornings and we are homeschooling in the afternoons. Troy had the best first few days of school! He was so excited to go and can’t wait to go back! I’m so thankful for a caring, loving teacher and a welcoming classroom. It’s gonna be a great year!
Can you tell my printer is running out of color ink? LOL! I love these pictures of him…he is SO happy!
We also started up soccer this week! Wahoo! I actually love watching him play soccer…well except when it’s cold and rainy!
My favorite family activity we did this week was going to our state fair! It’s kind of a big deal here, so we decided to take all the kiddos! The fair is awesome if you like fried food…they have a lot of it there! HA! Including these footlong corn dogs!
The boys enjoyed meeting the Cat in the Hat!
And playing with a leaf was Lincoln’s favorite thing about the fair. He could care less about the animals, rides, and food! 🙂
My hubby and I said that next year we may just go on a date to the fair. Taking the kids is fun, but also a lot of work!
On Monday, my dear husband had surgery on his shoulder! So it’s been a week of recovery and healing for him. He is doing well but can’t wait to be 100% better! That wasn’t our favorite moment of the week, but very thankful for modern technology and a good surgeon!
Have a sweet weekend!
Do you have a link for the first day of school for the elementary grades?
I’m sorry, but I don’t right now.
