Are you looking for a simple Christmas-themed activity? These Christmas Do-A-Dot pages are not only fun, but have great learning benefits, too!
What Are Do-a-Dot Markers?
Do-a-Dot markers are great toddler and preschool friendly paint markers. They are a perfect size and easy to hold for little ones. On the end is a round sponge tip filled with paint. When you press down on the sponge, the paint comes out! You can choose to make circles by stamping or move the marker around to make lines. They are washable, too! The paint dries very quickly, which is a great when you are doing crafts with young children.
Educational Benefits to Dot Marker Activities
These dot marker activities are great for being a creative and educational tool in the classroom. Here are some educational benefits:
- Fine Motor Skills – These Do-a-Dot activities help students develop fine motor skills, as they need to control the markers to make precise dots.
- Hand-Eye Coordination – This helps improve hand-eye coordination as students aim to place dots accurately in the circles.
- Color Recognition – You can use these pages to reinforce color recognition.
- Creativity – It’s fun to see what your students will do on the pages. Some will use only one color and others will make patterns with their colors.
We love these do-a-dot markers, but you could also use dot stickers or regular markers to fill in the circles.

Thank you
My class LOVES dot markers. I love it for fine motor skills when doing dot marker pages, and also for free at choices. I only have 1 set of dot markers, so would love to get a few more, so more kids could participate at a time.
Mucho Gracias!!!!
I’d love to win a set of dot markers to give to a teacher at our local school!
Love!
My students always LOVE using dot markers!!!! I use them a lot for letter hunt pages or I Spy type activities.
We love dot markers for making pictures but can use them for so much more, too, including visual cues for ways to make 5, ways to make 10, etc.
As an OT, do a dot markers would be a great tool to add for the students on my caseload to work on their fine motor skills.
As an OT, the dot pages and markers are a super easy to prep and a great activity for daily task box in my autism classrooms. Independent work that addressed motor planning and hand-eye coordination.
