Advent Calendar for Kids
December is just a couple days away, so today I want to share with you our advent calendar for kids! I’m so excited to share this with you because it is extremely EASY to make and you have time to prepare it before December 1st!
Here’s what you need to make your own advent calendar!
- mini-muffin tin (ours is a KitchenAid one)
- calendar cards (see printable at the end of the post)
- advent ideas (see printable at the end of the post)
- magnets
To prepare this advent calendar, simply print the calendar cards on card stock paper (and laminate if you’d like!). Then cut out the cards. Add some magnets to the backside. Inside the muffin tin, put in a Christmas activity to do for that day. I recommend writing in your calendar all the activities you have planned for December. That way you are prepared for that day. After all the advent activities are inside the muffin tin, put the calendar card on top.
Then just display the calendar and have fun creating memories this December! We are so excited to start our advent activities!
You can put in any advent ideas into the calendar. I’ve put together 40 ideas in this printable —> Advent Calendar Ideas

Merry Christmas!!
What a fab idea. Probably a bit expensive for one per child in my class but a brilliant idea.
