I would love to win a smart speaker for my classroom because it has become my best friend at home. I use it for timers and to ask questions that I need answered quickly. These would be just a couple of examples of how I would put this to good use.

  9. I have fleetingly considered a smart speaker for my classroom – largely to replace my old CD player for music and movement activities – but I could not think of the number of other ways in which it could be used in order to justify its presence in the classroom. I was also unaware that it could be programmed to respond to just the teacher so that is reassuring as I would not want my students to engage with technology too much. They get enough of that at home.
