Beginning readers need lots of practice reading short vowel words. We teach this with CVC words, which means consonant, vowel, consonant (ie: sit). This set of slides is for practicing reading short /i/ sounds in CVC words.
This is a digital resource for Google Classroom™, Google Slides™, and Seesaw. With this purchase, you will receive a PDF that contains the links for the files in Google Slides™ and Seesaw. This does not include a printable version of this activity.
- There are two pictures and one word on each page.
- The child will read the word and decide which picture matches it.
- Then they will drag the picture to the grey box.
