Fizzy Experiment – In a Gutter!

by Angela Thayer Leave a Comment

fizzy gutter

We did a fizzy experiment inside of a rain gutter (yes, you read that right!) and my kids loved it! It was a fun way to spend a warm afternoon summer. I bought a rain gutter at Lowe's and it's been great for play activities! We love to use it to race things down it like it, like balls, cars, or soap boats! This activity was teaching my kids about chemical reactions. We've done lots of fizzy science experiments with baking soda and vinegar, but these experiments never get old! We loooove to … [Read more...]

10 Apple Science Activities for Little Learners

by Angela Thayer 3 Comments

Science activities are so much fun to do with preschoolers! I find that my boys love doing anything science-related with me. While I do enjoy browsing Pinterest for ideas, I don't love doing science experiments that don't explain the "why" behind them. I decided to plan specific activities for my boys and also explain the science behind each activity. So I've created these science packets for little learners that are hands-on and fun for kids! My first packet is all about APPLES! In this … [Read more...]
