Penguin Sensory Sink

My kids love penguins! I'm not sure what it is about penguins, but they are naturally drawn to them. Their interest in penguins started after watching an episode of Elmo's World. They learned a lot about penguins and kept wanting to know more. So we read penguin books and talked a lot about penguins. Letter ‘P’ Craft

We're adding to our alphabet book with the letter 'P'. We first painted the pumpkin seeds orange from the pumpkin we explored last week and glued them inside the letter 'P'. Before glueing them down, we counted them and put them into groups of ten. Troy only lasted to 3 groups of ten, but it was still good counting practice. Here's the letter 'P'! Letter ‘P’ Alphabet Box & Sensory Bin

This week we're learning about the letter 'P'. Here's the alphabet box I used to introduce the letter. There are a lot of words that start with 'p' so this was an easy box to create!
