Marshmallow Play Dough

Servings: 1 play dough

Equipment

  • 1 spatula
  • 1 cutting board
  • 1 stove
  • 1 pan

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil
  • 30 big marshmallows
  • 1 cup corn starch
  • 3 drops food coloring

Instructions

  • Start by adding 1 tablespoon of coconut oil into a pan and place it on the stove on medium heat.
  • After it has melted, add 30 large marshmallows to the pan. Stir frequently until they melt completely.
  • If you want the dough to be two colors, divide the marshmallow mix between two bowls and stir in a few drops of food coloring.
  • Next, stir in the cup of cornstarch and mix well.
  • Once it has been mixed, place it onto a mat and knead with corn starch. Keep adding corn starch and kneading until it is no longer sticky.

Notes

This play dough is not one to use over and over. It can get hard quickly and it doesn’t preserve well.
