Have you thought about wadding the tissue paper before sticking it to the contact paper? I bought a Disney Princess project from Dollar Tree for my granddaughter some time back, and crumpling the tissue paper made the gowns extra fancy. She was so proud of them, we had to display them for longer than most crafts. It’s really easy, and it would turn these hearts into something more 3-dimentional. (Although it will take about 3 times as much tissue.)

That is great idea!! We did not try that, but we will next time. Thanks for sharing!

      Thanks, Stef! 🙂

  2. IS the contact paper easy to remove from the window? I’ve never used it before, but I wanted to try this project soon! 🙂

    Thanks!

I just stuck 3 small pieces of tape to the back of the contact paper heart (since only 1 side is sticky and that side is facing out so the kids can put tissue paper on it). So it is not hard to get of your window. 🙂
