I know Thanksgiving is not for another month, but I couldn’t help but share this cute Thanksgiving number puzzle. I am so happy so many of you enjoy my puzzles, so I wanted to make sure I created one for the upcoming holiday.
Materials for the Thanksgiving Puzzle:
- Thanksgiving puzzle
- craft sticks
Begin by printing the puzzle on card stock paper. Cut apart each section. Then glue them onto a craft stick. This makes it easier for a child to manipulate and move around.
The goal of this activity is for the child to create a picture with the puzzle pieces. They will put the pieces in order from 1-20. This is also a fun way to work on counting and number recognition!
Kids will use their fine motor skills to carefully set the pieces next to each other. This is a good way to work on endurance!
