  1. I am so happy I found your site. I was completely overwhelmed with starting a preschool program with my son between so may things to teach/do and all the things/supplies needed. Your blog has been a Godsend. I now feel excited and happy to plan! You have so many easy ways to do the activities that dont require a ton of prep ( I work part time and run the household so time is precious).

Angela, I love your apple activities. I just have one issue. Sorting the apples by color activity is actually sorting by shape. Confusing for kids. I would suggest putting down sheets of colored paper instead.
Thanks so much for all your hard work.

What a great collection of ideas. I’ve seen dancing raisins, but not jumping apple seeds. It might even be fun to do both experiments side by side and compare the reactions.

    1. Just wanted to mention that apple seeds can be toxic if chewed by children. Not sure what quantity would become an issue for a toddler, but parents should know this. Kids are notorious for eating stuff they shouldn’t.
